I also noticed that Foxglove has posted a number of blogs. She may not be in the top 50, but she has a unique perspective… One of a splicer, but it seems be one that is in conflict between human thought/emotion, and that of her animal instincts.

Hail Questors:

It’s been a quiet week. I’m sure it has something to do with everyone prapring with the Easter Holiday… At least that’s my hope. ;)

Debrah Prat did stop by to share with us her vision for The Vision Quest. From the looks of things we should be seeing Book II before too long. I’m hoping before this summer… But I don’t know how things work on the production side of things…

I’m confident that she’ll let us know as information becomes available.

In the mean time, lets keep the blogs coming, I’d like to see more activity on the forums… and for the artists out there, please post your drawings along Grimlock’s. I’m trying may hand at a couple of things, but they aren’t ready just yet.

Again greetings to everyone.

The latest top 50 has been posted. A couple of names have appeared/reappeared. Congratulation to Ichigo for making the top 50, and welcome back to the top 50 Grimlock. They’ve been long time Questors that seem to have recently gotten the itch again.

And if you haven’t seen Grimlock’s artwork… Please take a look. And I’d like to encourage anyone interested in posting some artwork, or anything else, please do so.

Also, a warm welcome back to Psyla. Another Questor that had been silent for a long time. Nice to see you back, and we’ll be watching for some more blogs.

Greetings Questors:

The latest to 50 has been posted… There was some movement in the rankings, but it would seem that a bulk of the activity is happening in the top 10.

The Featured Questors have some interesting stuff going on, and I would encourage everyone to read what’s happening and possibly consider using it to spring board their own story ideas… I’m sure that they are not the only students at Tosadae right now.

In the mean time, please keep writing, or consider posting something, invite your friends, explore, and enjoy.

Now let’s work on getting at least 20 of the top 25 to have a recent post. ;) That would be an achievement.

Greetings Questors.

I’ve been gone for a bit, and it seems that a number of other people are as well. Although I noticed some movement on the list of folks below the top 50, but it would seem that those that have obtained that mark have been fairly quiet, with the exception of those that frequently post in the forums… (Yes Strike I’m talking about you), Opsidian, and the Featured Questors.

I did notice that Talisien is trying to interact with a one of the other top 50 members, I hope that something comes of that.

I’ve also noticed that we haven’t had any additions the last couple of weeks. So I’d like to lay down a friendly challenge and encourage everyone to bring in at least one more questor. Share your book and encourage them to log on. Walk them through a the site a bit, and then let them explore and develop a character of their own.

Looking foward to seeing what happens.

You’re friendly Biodroid here to keep up the tallies. Not much activity this week from the looks of things, although the Featured Questors continue to evolve their stories. I encourage everyone to read through the story lines if you haven’t already.

Also of note, Xcaliber99 made a decent jump on the charts. I’m assuming of course that (s)he’s been working out in the shield room? But that’s purely an assumption. For those that haven’t tried the shield exercise, give it a go… It’s an interesting challenge.

Greetings fellow Questors, the latest list has been checked and posted. Sorry that I’ve been quiet as of late, but trust me, I’m usually not very far away, I’ve just been busy, and at the very least wanted to keep up the Top 50 list.

I would encourage everyone to log in when they are scanning the boards, and I would encourage everyone to post their thoughts and join in on some of the various discussions. If you don’t see a topic that fits your interest, then please create your own topic of/for discussion.

Well we can’t say for sure that other species have males and females. In Slaughterhouse Five it is stated that there are 7 sexes. And in other countless sci-fi books there are species that are neither male nor female. You can’t be for certain…...lol

Considering I’m a biodroid, it’s pretty hard to be a Speciesist. :P

So we wouldn’t want to forget Zomers as well.

Besides, Ladies and Gentlemen is pretty all inclusive. Perhaps next time, I’ll just leave it as Ladies, gentlement, and biodroids. But then I’m sure someone/thing else would be offended. Ah well, can’t please them all. ;)

Ladies and Gentlemen:

There has been a lot of things happening, and we’re only a couple of weeks into the new year.

Ms Pratt’s competition has been brought to a close and the winners announced.

Ms Pratt welcomes people of all sorts of media backgrounds to please join in the fun. (I’m looking to see what folks cook up for this)

The Questor’s list continues to grow. We have officially broken the 500 mark for registered Questors. I have an odd fealing that there are a lot of folks that look at the site, but for one reason or another haven’t registered an Avatar as of yet. For those of you in that category, please come on in. This is a very friendly community, and UG knows that we’d love to hear what you have to say.

Questors, may the UG light your path, and may you travel in his Light.

Well Questors, it looks like we’re starting off the new year with a bang. There was a lot of movement in the top 50, as well as a few new names jumping in.

It seems that our community is growing, as we’re are near 500 Questors.

I’m humbled, and glad to see you back on the boards again, when I first heard about this site from Coast to Coast, and sought it out, the stories put up by you and your students played a large part in my desire to attempt to put up a story here. The fact that I’ve met Opsidian on the boards has added fuel to that fire and I enjoy our e-mail exchanges.

In reading that Andrea and probably several other Questors are actually family members warms my heart. It’s nice to have something that a family can do together, especially something that causes a person to use their imagination.

As for being a young person… Well, that time came and went many years ago. ;) But then the best comment came from “Miracle on 34th Street” – I’m as old as my tongue and older than my teeth.

UG knows that the abilities within are a powerful thing, and the limits that we have are usually the ones that we have placed upon ourselves. Another line from a more recent movies was You have to unlearn what you have learned. There is a lot of truth to that as we struggle to get past barriers that we put in place based on truths that we have been taught since we were young.

To have a site such as this to explore and open the minds eye and to create a universe that we can explore not only in story but in our own lives is probably the greatest gift that Ms. Pratt could have given us.

I look forward to again reading your stories and those of your family.

You young people are so enthusiastic! I love your urge to win and succeed. I hope your generation makes it all the way to the end. Mine only had a few shining stars here and there as an accident of birth/genetic combinations. We believe but we have no real powers to do many of the things we believe in. I should say we see the light, touch it, but do not get to enter in fully. Do not be misled by competition. Be yourself and always ask yourself what the Universal God would have you do at any time. Some of us are destined for a sacrificial part in the things to come. Only a few will be remembered by history: but at the least we can support those who are meant to triumph over all that ails life as we know it on life’s own terms.
