Wow its like a blend of Coruscant and Theed….lol. ITs very much like how I imagined Sangelino, very majestic, peaceful, and balanced. There is definitely a strong life force in the city. |

Since splicing is well under way – check today’s Drudge report on cow/human cross genetic success – the Vision Quest in only a few hundred years in the future. The advance comes from the spiratual awakening and the polar shift. Once we expand our minds out of linear thought, time is irrelevent and evolution expands eponentially. Here is a vision of Sangelino by Allison ![]() |

Woot! Finally a sense of direction. Now I’m getting some ideas for the map layout of the game, sweet! So exactly what futuristic century does Lazer live in according to our time measurement? I’m guessing maybe 1000 years or so, although scientists say the human body won’t last no more than a 150 years from now. |

Here is a possible vision I am working on in text; California tips down closer to the equator but Central America and part of Peru is now on the equator as is I think Northern Austrailia. Passage Island is near there. That puts the southern tip of South America (what would have been Chile before most of South America sank) as the new South Pole after the Great Quakes – Russia and part of China becaomes the North Pole. Most of the southeastern US coast is gone (no more Florida, Carribean and a good chunk of Lousianna and Texas up to New Jersy and everything above that is under ice. Some where in Ohio is the new coast. California is landlocked by a techtonic plat and rises three hundred feet out of the water. Atlantia sits between Central America and Spain and Northern Africa. The Atlantic Straits run on either side of Atlantia. South America is now a scattered ring of Islands and Panagea at the bottom of the sea are made up of Five Domed cities including the smallest city, Giatsha can be seen as a grouping of shadows beneath the water. Europe (The Common Market) now is it’s own continent having split off from Eastern Europe – England and Scotland are smashed into Norway. Asia was split by a huge fissure as well what was southern Russia. In Asia, Station City sits just below where Old Hong Kong was and Tosadae is off the coast next to it. A smaller Japan has been pushed south to Micronesia (Where the Mutant Wars took place). The entire Middle east is Domed. |

Topic: The Splicer Forum / Hybrid embryos All sorts of flavors and additives. I’ll drink coffee from straight up columbian black, to just about any flavored coffee with flavored creamers and/or adding sugar. At home I like to grind my own coffee. But somehow we’ve strayed way off topic. The thought that splicing is currently underway is in someways chilling. I’m sure that there are any number of reasons that they could come up with to justify it, everything from improving life to creating super soldiers. Regardless the reason… I think extreme caution needs to be exercised doing such. We’ve reached a point in science that we can do a lot of things, but much like from the movie “Jurassic Park” the question scientist are so wrapped up in whether or not that the could, and not considering whether or not they should. |

Topic: The Splicer Forum / Hybrid embryos Haha those contacts are cool. Well its just like the xray optics those searchers put in their eyes to look for…...argh lol I forgot. You know what I mean in VQ. I wouldn’t mind having a pair too. Hopefully we can get some infrared or cat night vision. That would be sweet. |

Topic: The Splicer Forum / Hybrid embryos It could substantially change the human DNA. We weren’t meant to have wings, tails, etc. The DNA would influence the individual’s DNA for the next generations which would end up with the procreation of human splicers. In order for us to fly, we’d need a large wingspan to support our weight. Like Opsidian said birds are lightweight, not weighing more than probably 40 pounds. Thats why Angel in XMen has such long wings. |

Topic: The Splicer Forum / Hybrid embryos Some time ago either Art Bell or George Noorey had a guest on their show who was some type of bio-scientist. I’ll have to see if I can find the link. But one of the things that they were talking about was the next step of “Body Sculpting,” in which they could attach wings to the human body, as well as manipulate it in other functions, such as the additions of horns, a tail, etc… During the discussion they kept coming back to the wings. Although there would be some muscular attachment that would allow the wings to spread and flap, it was doubtful that they would be functional in allowing a person to fly… but as they kept discussing it they were talking about if the wings were sufficiently exercised, who knows exactly how functional they would be. Perhaps they could be exercised to the point that they could at least allow a person to glide to the ground versus fall. My thought is, what would something like that do the the DNA of the person. If they were implanted on someone young enough, would they develop along with the person… Just some food for thought… When I find the link, I’ll post it here. |

Topic: The Splicer Forum / Hybrid embryos Well there have been tons of flying human theories in fiction. Take angels for instance, they are flying humans, dead but they can fly. In anime, characters have wings like laguz in Fire Emblem. If we were to fly, the bird DNA would change our skeletal system allowing us the ability. Hmm interesting point you make there. I think you could assume that splicers live among us now, but it depends on how you look at it. Splicers in VQ had distinct traits such as excessive body hair (fur), animal features, wings, etc. People with transplants have something like a .00001% of animal DNA in they’re system. If they passed this DNA down to their offspring, it may have a significant effect in the next 20 generations to come. Perspective. |

Topic: The Splicer Forum / Hybrid embryos Wow imagine 20 years from now, humans can fly—with wings. Would these human parts have animal traits? They should fuse human DNA with frogs to have regenerating parts. Just the thought of it is scary, we’re a few steps away from making fiction into reality. How ethical is the hybrid embryo experiments? I’d think many people and organizations would be throwing tantrums when they hear the news. It’s a step towards new futuristic medical developments, but it also crosses the line too. Humans can’t always play God. Its immoral. If they are successful and are later used for medical purposes, what would be the effect on human beings and later generations? It would forever change our rapidly evolving bodies. Humans worldwide are all different now. |

I’m currently working on one based off of information from the book as well as actual teutonic plate movement. It’s not going as quickly as I would hope, but I guess that’s what happens when you get sent out of town for training. |

Topic: General Discussion / Feedback on blogs Opsidian… I just got checked into the hotel, and wanted to see what’s going on… All I can say is Wow! Talk about exploding. Looks like you are the popular vote by far. I have to admit that I enjoy your stories, and interacting with you. Congratulations. I look forward to more stories and our continued interaction. |

Topic: General Discussion / Feedback on blogs Seems a couple people thought so. Their aura boosts pushed me past the long standing Nkiru to the 1st position. I have to admit that I have you to thank for the thought line and direction that OPALMOX is going, as the current blog series that I’m working on was focused on trying to get Mox in a position that he would cross paths with Opsidian and Lex again. Aside from Caplan, I’ve a couple more characters that I’ll be introducing to include into the fold. I just hope that Firefly doesn’t get to upset with a Biodroid floating around her hanger bay. |

Topic: General Discussion / Feedback on blogs Thank you… Seems someone liked my blogs and increased the aura of several of them, that put me just off of the board. Then answering the last 5 nodes was a huge jump, especially the bonus for answering 10 nodes (60 point increase). :) Just need to get you over to the shield exercises to pump you up some as well. I’m sure you’ll knock me down if you haven’t tried that challenge yet. |

Topic: General Discussion / Feedback on blogs Well, it seems that I rocketed through the ranks all of the sudden. Seems that someone enjoyed my blogs and raised the aura ratings on several. Then with my book finally arriving, I was able to answer a few more questions. Getting the 10th Gnorb question was a big boost. I dont’ know if you’ve done anything with the shield game. It can be a bit addicitive, but you can gain experience for each level, starting from the very beginning. I noticed that several people posted around the same time frame. It could be that they are a circle of friends that have been posting elsewere to get the interaction. Name creation is probably one of the easiest things for me. And I too am working on fleshing out a couple extra characters. But right now, I getting myself wrapped around Opal. After diving into the book, I’ve got some tweeks that I need to make in my thinking, but not too much. Looking forward to seeing more of yourself and Lex. And if there’s anything that I can do to give you hand, let me know. |

Topic: General Discussion / Feedback on blogs I noticed that now 4 of the 5 Featured Questors are in the top 4, and Derf isn’t too far out of the picture. But then neither am I. Opsidian, I see that you’re still climbing the ranks, congrats… Hopefully I’ll be there before too long. My book finally arrived today and I started reading. We’re suppose to be heading up North for work today, so I may have some time to get some reading in tonight. I’ll just have to wait and see. I liked Havel’s entry. And Grenci seems to have picked up where he left off. Two of the FQs haven’t posted in quite some time. Wonder if they’re coming back to the academy or not. Looking forward to reading about how things are going with the new squadron. Hopefully I’ll be catching up with you and Lex before too long. Follow the path of Light. |
