The entire world had been turned, twisted, scarred, reformed and spit back out so that mankind could enter into a new light. The people of the Earth changed, relearning their lost abilities with the emergence of splicers into the civilization and become better connected with their surroundings. However, with all these changes, one thing did stay the same. The refrigerator still collected photo’s, drawings, notes and everything else that could be plastered onto it. Reaching inside the refrigerator Rochelle Kalop grabbed two of the biodegradable juice bottles and then shut the door. She stood there for a moment to reflect on the items placed on the outside. A toddler standing on the beach filled one photo. Another showed a young boy standing with his parents on a boat with the island of Eron in the background. Another photo shows the same young boy standing with a group of classmates. Another shows a father and son working together on a monocycle(1). Another has an older boy now standing with his mother next to a cliff while he is wearing a body sailing suit(2) and holding a trophy. Another photo is of a young woman with shoulder length brown hair and matching brown eyes who is smiling graciously for the camera. Another photo has the young man standing close to the young woman both with huge smiles on their faces. “Come in Jeanette” Rochelle called out as the doorbell chimed. “Good morning Mrs. Kalop, is Tennis ready yet?” the young women from the photo said as she walked in. “Is he ever,” she laughed before yelling out, “Tennis, Jeanette is wondering when your going to be ready.” A voice from one of the back rooms rang out, “Just need to pack the suit my backpack and I’ll be right out.” “He never was one for being fast in the morning.” Rochelle responded. You might have noticed the (1) and (2) in the above writing. Well I put those there so you would come down here and follow these two links. The monocycle and body sailing(still working on that name) will be relevant in the future stories of the young Tennis Kalop so I thought you should know what I am thinking about and that it is possible technology as well. |
