There was just too much information running through my mind for me to sleep however. Reaching over to the nightstand that sat next to the bed I grabbed the photo frame that sat on the desk. The photo that was displayed in the frame was that of my parents, Benton and Rochelle. I had taken this photo out on our balcony on Amana the day before I left the Corporate Islands for the first time. Touching the screen, the picture reassembled to show a young woman wearing a crimson sundress. Her light brown hair was blowing in the wind as she smiled while standing next to me on a cliff face located on the island of Coretona. My life in the Corporate Islands began to relive itself as I closed my eyes and help the photo against my chest. |
