Topic: The Heroes / Vision Quest PC Game Someday? Kyla would definitely have a mixture of colors I think, having that butterfly splice in there. I’m going to guess that is Elana Blue at the top of the book cover. Thinking dark blond would work on Cashton as well. |

Topic: The Heroes / Vision Quest PC Game Someday? Lazer has dark hair. Since he’s on the cover the the both books that one is pretty easy. As to Kyla and Cashton… Kyla’s I invision having a mix of colors, and Cashton I invision it to be dishwater to dark blond. |

Topic: The Heroes / Vision Quest PC Game Someday? I think that the Wii would make a great format in which to develope such a game. Not only would I enjoy it, but I’m sure that my kids would as well. Additionally it would make a way to introduce people into The Vision Quest. I know that there are a number of people out there that get into a game first, then get into the books to discover what the world is about. I think Warcraft is one of those games, as well as any of the games that are produced by Blizzard. Another advantage of the Wii is that you can do some on-line/interactive type of game play. |

Topic: The Heroes / Vision Quest PC Game Someday? A Wii game would be interesting, already have one so I would surely play the game. I would think that having something online might be a better route though. A ever growing RPG would get more people into the game and keep them in the series then a video game. As an example, once I finish a game I tend to trade it in at GameStop and get another. |

Topic: The Heroes / Vision Quest PC Game Someday? Haha, I love the Wii. Hmmm a Wii game would be interesting, I can see how the controls would fit. I think the game platform should be a free world rpg, similar to Grand Theft Auto or The Godfather. The player would be able to explore Atlantia and take part in many events in the VQ world. They can attend Tosadae and go on the Rite of Passage as part of the storyline and explore in between missions and plot events. When the game is developed, don’t make it restricted to one aspect. Expand and find a balance between the two. I’m working on a Flash game with my friends for VQ. We’re currently drawing up the boards. I hope its out in a year or so..lol |

Topic: Questor Challenges / Sangelino Gnorb What color is Lazer’s aura after his father’s death? Which one of Cashton’s inventions got him, Kyla, and Lazer in trouble at Tosadae? What “state” does Masta Poe teach her students to reach? What type of splicer is Evvy? |

Topic: Questor Challenges / Sangelino Gnorb Looking for an up date of questions for the Gnorb. Any suggestions? What professor at Tosadae used immersive holo-projection to teach the world shift that changed the world? Who was Cashton spying on with his E-3 device when the farming community was attacked? |

Topic: The Heroes / Vision Quest PC Game Someday? What about a Wii game that would take us into the Rite of Passage? Single player. The controls are so totally right and can act as a machette, flashlight, rope… |

Topic: The Heroes / Vision Quest PC Game Someday? Haha this is cool. Imagine a penguin-tiger-bird-human split. You get a human with ferocious teeth, a tail, wings, and the ability to ice surf in Antarctica. |

Topic: The Heroes / Vision Quest PC Game Someday? Agreed. When they are able to bring an MMORG on-line, you’ll be able to tailor the look of your character, much like the World of Warcraft, where they have base races, and are able to tailor it from there, they’ll have something of similar lines for Splicers, Humans, or what ever type of character you choose to play. |

Topic: The Heroes / Vision Quest PC Game Someday? I see, Thanks for your input. We just loosely based the splicers off Fire Emblem laguz for now. However I think there will be a design your own splicer in the game. |

Topic: The Heroes / Vision Quest PC Game Someday? Here’s the description of Lex and Captain Yu, funny, never noticed they both had orange eyes lol. Lex was a second generation splicer that was crossed from the Eurasian Eagle Owl. Her body was covered with small feathers of different shade, most of them no bigger then a human hair and not overly noticeable. Her head was covered with brown, black, and white feathers that seemed to be slicked back most of the time. They draped down the back of her neck in dark stripes. Larger then normal orange eyes helped fill out the white and brown fine feathers that covered her face. Her moth was normal shaped but instead of human lips it was a beak. Unless you got up close to her you would never notice that it was a beak, even up close I think a few people never noticed. Her mouth wasn’t as hard as most bird beaks though, Lex could still manage a smile. Kagawa had large orange eyes that matched her short orange hair. She is a small women with a thin, high cheekboned face. Her skin was pale, mostly covered with orange fur that had yellow ends. Two round feline ears protruded from the sides of her head. There was no denying that she was a splicer. |

Topic: The Heroes / Vision Quest PC Game Someday? Keep in mind that during the time frame of the book, most of the splicer’s will be 2nd and 3rd generations, which means the sharpness of the origin DNA will be tamed down somewhat… Also too, the imagination is great at filling in the blanks, and will be much more enjoyable as the reader fills it in with their thoughts and perceptions. |

Topic: The Heroes / Vision Quest PC Game Someday? Well yea. Its just how much human and animal to put into the physique. Right now we’re generalizing. A bird splicer basically a human with wings, may be similar to the hawk professors’. Cat-Human with pointy ears and a tail. etc. |

Topic: The Heroes / Vision Quest PC Game Someday? There are any number of ways to describe a splice… It would really be dependent on what they are spliced with. If you read through the book, and several of Opsidian’s blogs, as well as some of the other folks here on this site, you’ll get a number of examples… I think the one that stands out in my head are the one’s early on in the book, as well as the descriptions of Lex (Opsidian’s wingman), CAPT Yu (Opsidian’s CO), and Direhoof. Other than that, let your imagination do the walking, and enjoy. |
