It’s a little strange being me. Adopted into this extended foster family that our Teacher-leader Mother Jubatis calls a coalition at age 3 or earlier has left me very few memories of my original parents.

Drew is our foster Dad, his partner is Audra, our foster mom. They are an awesome duo, but what does a 40-something parental type unit know about a 15 year old boy? At least we are all splicers with similar human/feline mixed DNA. I’m the baby boy, and I’m not the strongest or fastest, but I have one thing I seem to have a knack for: the visionistic arts. I was always good at hiding myself, but it’s on a whole new level now. Almost by accident I went invisible (or went negative, as Mother Jubatis says)! I haven’t been able to do it again yet, but no one in my family has even come close to achieving a stunt like that yet!

So now it doesn’t seem so bad to be the runt male of our motley litter. I have my own special talents. I know they will come in handy in the crud that sounds like its coming down soon. The Vybernet is just full of wild messages from friends at Tosadae and elsewhere, warning us we have to be ready to do our part to save our world. I plan on being ready. How about you?
