Where is Miro?

I was waiting at the Nax. I had organized a date with Miro, and was looking forward to get to see her again. I thought if I spent enough time with her, and let her know that I was a good guy, she’d open up a little.

Kam was still off somewhere arguing our case to get into the Flight Tournament, so I hadn’t seen him in a while. This made me want to spend more time with Miro.

I was on my second coffee, I like them basic, Just a double shot espresso, but strong. Coffee is a drink that would go over well in Erebus I though, and I’m sure I could clean up by introducing it if the whole Politia thing ever fell through.

I was about to order my third when I realized I’d been there for a good forty-five minutes, just lost in my own brain.

Miro hadn’t shown up.

I called her dorm and Grenci answered. I asked if she was there and told him she was supposed to meet me.
“She ain’t here man,” he replied, but not abruptly, like he was concerned himself. “I tried to call her a couple of times. I just expected her to be out of range in the archaic library or something, that was like, five hours ago though.”
“That’s odd,” I told him. “I wouldn’t think she could stand being in there that long.” “Ok man, I’ll let you know.” Grenci replied. “Thanks,” I said, and hung up. Grenci was quite civil for a change, I usually got a kind of mischievous vibe from, him, like he was playing with me. He must have been quite concerned himself.

This is starting to worry me.
