Bio

I’m a rural type, from the small farming village of Erebus, in the mountains of Antarctica.
We live simply and work hard, maintaining a close community. While I love it here in Erebus, I’m keen to see some of the world outside the village.

Missing Person Report

Posted by display_name on July 13, 2008 @ 10:46AM

Miro has been missing for days now. I am absolutely terrified of what might have happened to her. Grenci told me she’d been having disturbing nightmares that had something to do with a cult, and that it was why she had been spending so much time in the Archaic library. He seemed to think that this had been going on long before she had been at Tosadae, and though it might have something to do with why she was so shy.

I waited for Grenci at the Tosadae security offices for about forty-five minutes.
“C’mon, let’s go in.” he said, walking up.
“Where have you been?” I asked, impatiently. “You were supposed to be here ages ago.”
“Sorry man,” he said, innocently. “Something came up with the case.”
“Oh,” I said. “How’s that going?”
“Think we’re getting closer.” He replied. “Let’s go in.”

We walked into the Tosadae security office, and filed a missing person complaint for Miro. Grenci seemed to know the security guys through the whole detective training cell he was involved in. We told the guy everything we knew about her up until the disappearance. Grenci did most of the talking. This whole process was completely foreign to me. It was unheard of for people to just disappear where I come from, the village was so small.

Grenci on the other hand, didn’t seem too shaken, or if he was he hid it well. I think him and Miro had gotten pretty close since they had both arrived. He seemed concerned, but that guy must have so much on his mind.

We finished giving our statement, and then we left.
“See you round, I guess.” I said to Grenci.
“You will, man,” He said. “You’re a decent guy Derf. Let me know immediately if you hear anything.”

Universal God, I hope I do hear something. I haven’t been this worried in a long time.
