An interview.

It was Friday, and I was at the Nax with Kam for our weekly catchup. We saw each other during the week anyway, and my friendship with him was becoming much more enjoyable. I was even growing to like Derf as well.

Our coffee was interrupted by a guy I’d seen around before. He introduced himself as Grenci Chamberlain, and inquired as to whether he could ask me some questions or not.

“I’m investigating the drugs scandal,” he said. “We have a feeling that the supply of drugs at Tosadae might go further than your team.”

“Ugh,” I groaned. “Please don’t lump me in with those losers.”

“Wait a minute,” Kam said. “Who are you to be investigating this. “Who’s ‘we?’”

“I’m part of a group that is working with the Tosadae administration” Grenci replied calmly. “We just want to help clean this mess up.”

“No that’s fine,” I said. “I’d be happy to help.”

Grenci got a coffee and sat down with us. We went over with him what happened up after I joined the team. I told him about Jackson, Raiphe, Michonne, Nyssa, Kinley and Greer. He took their names down and said he’d check them out and try and find out any common links beside the team.

It felt good to know something was being done about these drugs at Tosadae. What I went through with the team was terrible for me, but these drugs were destructive. They ruin people’s lives. As far as I was aware they were completely undetectable, and Grenci and his group would need to catch someone in the act, either selling, consuming or even making it. I hope they catch the people responsible soon.
