The glyph behind the virus.

Posted on November 09, 2008 @ 06:34AM

Many of the wristponders at Tosadae are down. All of the wristponders that were turned on around 1pm last week have been malfunctioning, and the Tosadae tech guys are at a loss to figure out where the virus came for. They just keep emitting this glyph hologram. Tech support were able to cure the virus, but every day around the same time at 1pm, they malfunction again, and successive attempts to purge the virus become increasingly difficult. Students who have wristponders have been advised to keep them turned off for the forseeable future, which is a major setback at Tosadae.

The heads of the Academy are reportedly furious that this keeps happening, and it seems like only a matter of time before the Tosadae mainframe is attacked too. Students who have bought new wristponders get the virus on them too, bang on 1pm. I’m starting to think that it is being broadcast from somewhere each day.

There wasn’t much I could do about it, so I decided to go to the Archaic Library to attempt to decipher the glyph. I recognized it as pre-quakes Asian, and went straight to the linguistics section. After hours of sifting through countless pictures of symbols, I came across the glyph. It was a Japanese Kanji, it translated to ‘DOOM.’

Oh no.
