I’ve decided that although I want to use the archaic library to research the Hall of Shadows, I can’t really go in there unless I have some kind of framework for this book I’m supposed to write.

I had a look at the proposal Grenci had written, and I was amazed at how well written it was for someone with his background, and for someone who speaks so umm, street. His was very general though, and I thought I could hone it a little more specifically.

I decided that not only would I write a book about pre-quakes plant-life, but I would include a treatise on plants that did survive, and why. I obviously couldn’t cover every plant on the planet, that would just be insane, so I decided I would focus on plants that were used for food and medicine, specifically types that were resilient or had adaptive capabilities. Hmm. Who knows, maybe this research would be valuable to someone someday.

After I’d drafted up my research design I thought maybe I should do the same for the Hall of Shadows. This made me nervous thinking about it, so I decided to hold off on that until I had actually visited the library itself.
