No good news.

A great sense of hopelessness has overwhelmed me. My grades have been slipping, and I rarely see anyone besides Alicia these days. I just can’t go out and be cheerful and happy until I get some word of what is happening with my family. Kam continues to stop by, and he is some comfort to me, but I just don’t know what to do with myself anymore.

“I’ll get dad to look into it,” said Kam. “I’m sure the Nagami corporation has got interests in Atlantia that he can use to investigate the situation.”
“Thanks Kam…” I said, somewhat unconvincingly.

After a few more days of moping, Kam got back to me, and the news wasn’t good.
“Listen Havel,” said Kam. “The news I have isn’t good. It turns out that the Politia didn’t erect the dome, it was erected from inside. Many large corporations have been forced to abandon their interests on the inside, but without being given any solid reason why. I’m sorry Have, I don’t know what else to tell you.”

I hugged Kam, and balled my eyes out. I don’t know if I can cope much longer.
