The Aftermath.

After everything went down with Miro’s rescue, I went with her and Derf to get her set up in a Tosadae recuperation facility. Jason was involved in much of the administrative fallout, so I caught with him after.

Jason said the Politia Internal Affairs was following up on the Hall of Shadows, doing some research into the cult, in order to determine the level of their power, and the extent they had infiltrated the governing bodies.

Apparently, Elijah Cruise, the cult leader who was badly scarred in the retrieval had escaped from his ambulance, assaulting the two Tosadae paramedics. He wouldn’t be able to do any real damage for a while, but because he was still at large, it meant we wouldn’t be able to get much information on the cult. We did still have the other man Jason and I apprehended, but we would have got more from Cruise.

The Politia Detectives had asked Miro about the cult, and why she thought she might have been abducted, she was still pretty shaken up, and said she had no idea. She never mentioned that she had known about the cult prior to her abduction, and I didn’t rat her out about it, but I’d better keep my eye on her. I hope it hasn’t changed her for the worse. I’d say she knows far more than she is willing to let on.
