A resolution of sorts.

Today me and Jason followed Josh Ackimene to the meeting where he was to receive his new fix of splintron. Needless to say the little wimp was petrified.
“They’ll kill me,” he said. “They’ll kill me!”
“Trust me,” said Jason. “You’ll come off a lot worse if you don’t help us.”
“I know. I know.” he whimpered.

I looked at him. I’as having a bit of trouble feeling sorry for him. Not even Tonio or the other guys I ran with on the streets were users. Josh went into the restaurant, and sat down. He was wearing a modified wristponder chip designed to record the meeting. It was a new undetectable form of listening device some of the Tosadae Detective Branch tech guys had cooked up especially.

Josh and I waited with Mr. Graves and an armed Tosadae Strike Team. Soon after, the communicators packed in, and we heard the meeting on the other end.
”...relax, Kid. Our bosses think that Tosadae is a lucrative market for splintron. We’re not going to do anything to anything to hurt anyone there. Give us the money.” We had instructed Josh to specifically ask for the drug before we would move in.
“Show me the splintron.” we heard him say.

The team stormed in, and apprehended the two suppliers. It doesn’t seem like we’ve got the masterminds behind all of this, yet, but the investigation has been turned over to the senior investigators. We’ll be kept in the loop, but our active part in this investigation is over.

I must say, I’m happy that Jason and I were the successful partnership to get this far, but right now, I’m more worried about finding Miro.

She’s been missing for days now.
