Investigation progress.

Me and Jason are still investigating the drugs presence at Tosadae. Jason had tracked down the members of the team who used the drug through the V-Net, but hadn’t gotten very far.

I approached Nkiru, the member who turned them in. I’d seen her around before, but never had any real reason to talk to her. She was surprisingly cooperative, and I managed to convince her to return to Crizettes, so she could let me know if anything odd was going down over in the Zero-G community. My roommate Miro gave me a rundown of the side-effects the drug causes, so I told Nkiru to be especially mindful of that. We’ll have to see how it pans out.

Jason and I then went organized a meeting with the Head of Department for the sciences. There were about three teachers who could have had access to the drug, or who could manufacture it. There was also a group of technicians that supply Tosadae with scientific materials to be used in class. They would probably have access to it first.

I interviewed the three chemistry teachers. Two were older than the Great Quakes, and there was just no way they could have had any involvement, they barely knew where they were. The last however was a younger guy, this guy was really smart, and I think he thought it was amusing that a kid could be investigating something like this. He was a biochemistry teacher, with an interest in microbiology. He was a human, quite tall, with those chiseled good-looks you see in the holoshows but with piercing green eyes. He told me he was “absolutely shocked” that there were drugs at Tosadae, and “terribly worried” that the Science Department could be called into question. Something about this guy seemed off to me. I’m not saying he’s behind all this, but I’ll keep my eye on it.

I met up with Jason and asked him how it went. “It was interesting,” said Jason.
“Oh yeah, how?” I replied.
“Most of these guys were so inept, I wouldn’t want them near any dangerous scientific equipment,” He said. “Some of them were intelligent, they just didn’t fit the profile. But one guy on the list I couldn’t find. He’s just dropped off the face of the earth.”
“Think that’s our man?” I asked.
“Well see,” He said. “But first we gotta find him.”
