Finally I get some answers.

Alejandro Graves, my father (feels weird writing that) told me exactly why I’m here.

Turns out he was in some special forces unit back in the Mutant Wars, and was gettin’ ready to get out’ve the life and settle down with my birth mother. The army was none too happy about this though, cos they were losing this kickass special forces spy guy. When I was born, my mother died in childbirth. Alejandro was grief-stricken and couldn’t bear to raise me without her. The army saw to it that I was adopted into a nice family, so long as he came back to work. Years later he heads up this special training program for Politia Detectives.

He made sure he kept tabs on me, but tried to not interfere with my upbringing. When he was told I had run away and was living on the streets of Covax, he had agents keep tabs on me.

Turns out he wasn’t ready to see my life go down the can, so he got me enrolled with Tosadae. He engineered it so that Tonio could get me over here. I’m not so sure how I feel about him using Tonio that way.

Now he wants me in the Detective program. He’s been watching me the whole time, seeing how I do, seeing how resourceful I am. He’s impressed.

I tell him I’ll think about it.
