This could have also gone in Site Feedback I guess but figured here would work out just as well.

As I find myself writing and looking to have characters travel, the one thing that seems to cause a tiny problem is the lack of a map. How far is it from the Corporate Islands to the South Republic, Atlantia to Panazia, and so forth? Perhaps the creation of a map would be rather benifical to everyone. However, a map maker I am not.

I’m currently working on one based off of information from the book as well as actual teutonic plate movement. It’s not going as quickly as I would hope, but I guess that’s what happens when you get sent out of town for training.

Here is a possible vision I am working on in text; California tips down closer to the equator but Central America and part of Peru is now on the equator as is I think Northern Austrailia. Passage Island is near there. That puts the southern tip of South America (what would have been Chile before most of South America sank) as the new South Pole after the Great Quakes – Russia and part of China becaomes the North Pole.

Most of the southeastern US coast is gone (no more Florida, Carribean and a good chunk of Lousianna and Texas up to New Jersy and everything above that is under ice. Some where in Ohio is the new coast. California is landlocked by a techtonic plat and rises three hundred feet out of the water.

Atlantia sits between Central America and Spain and Northern Africa. The Atlantic Straits run on either side of Atlantia. South America is now a scattered ring of Islands and Panagea at the bottom of the sea are made up of Five Domed cities including the smallest city, Giatsha can be seen as a grouping of shadows beneath the water.

Europe (The Common Market) now is it’s own continent having split off from Eastern Europe – England and Scotland are smashed into Norway. Asia was split by a huge fissure as well what was southern Russia.

In Asia, Station City sits just below where Old Hong Kong was and Tosadae is off the coast next to it. A smaller Japan has been pushed south to Micronesia (Where the Mutant Wars took place).

The entire Middle east is Domed.

Woot! Finally a sense of direction. Now I’m getting some ideas for the map layout of the game, sweet! So exactly what futuristic century does Lazer live in according to our time measurement? I’m guessing maybe 1000 years or so, although scientists say the human body won’t last no more than a 150 years from now.

Since splicing is well under way – check today’s Drudge report on cow/human cross genetic success – the Vision Quest in only a few hundred years in the future. The advance comes from the spiratual awakening and the polar shift. Once we expand our minds out of linear thought, time is irrelevent and evolution expands eponentially.

Here is a vision of Sangelino by Allison

Wow its like a blend of Coruscant and Theed….lol. ITs very much like how I imagined Sangelino, very majestic, peaceful, and balanced. There is definitely a strong life force in the city.
