Ahh this one is interesting, I’ve tried so many combinations of words for their escape and what caused Evvy’s father’s death, but none of them seem to work.

I’m not sure what combination to use as well, but time will tell. I like the questions, and it aught to be an interesting challenge.

Just noticed that we had a new orb to play with, anyone complete it yet? I haven’t had time to do the challenge since it is tax month, the one time of the year that I hate my job.

I answered one question so far… and am doing research on the other ones between classes.

The last month and change have had me very busy… Right now I’m in Harper’s Ferry, WV for the rest of the week. And when I fly back, I’m home long enough to do laundry before I take off for another four weeks.

So, needless to say I haven’t had much time to do much on the site… Sorry everyone. Working from a hotel doesn’t give me much time to do much, as I’m at their mercy and time limits, and it takes me a bit longer that 15 minutes to put together the top 50. But hopefully, I’ll have something up soon.

Well, I’m down to one question… And that’s completing the Quote… I thought I had it found in Part II, but it doesn’t seem to matter what I type in, it’s not accepting the answer. :(

Has anyone else got this question… If so, what Part is it in? I’ve got everything else done, so I’ll be more than happy to lay out what ever clues I can to help everyone one.

Well I’ve been trying the quote one too, it hasnt worked for some of my answers. I think I might end up downloading the book PDF file form the site to find all the places where the quote appears, if more than once. I need the escape path, what evvy saw,and what rian was taught first. however what ever i try doesnt work.

The quote is the only one that I’m having problems with, and I’ve tried a ton of different combinations and possible answers. I’ll keep going forward and see if there is anyplace else in the book that may have the quote.

As for downloading the PDF, the only part that is downloadable now a days is the first chapter, unless there is someplace where you can purchase the PDF version that I don’t know about (Which is very possible).

Was the quote that you were working from in Part II, or was it in another part of the book? Based on how it’s worded, I’m assuming that it’s a Masta Poe quote, (Again, I could be wrong here as well).

As to the other questions that you are having problems with… The first VA talent that she learns is what Masta Poe is teaching her in preparation for the eventual talent that she is suppose to be learning, not her talents that she has naturally developed. (So no, telepathy/empaty is not it.) (BTW it’s a one word answer). ;)

The escape path answer for me was a one word answer, which is actually more along the lines of how they escaped, not necessarily the path, though that helps.

What did Evvy’s Father see that got him killed… It’s pretty straight forward for that one.

I don’t have my book with me at the moment, but if you need the sections let me know and I’ll narrow it down for you.

Thanks, I’ll look into it. Ive found two places I think, that has the words, but I’m rereading the book to see if I missed any. I dont have my book with me either, but I think one was from Part II somewhere.

For how they escaped, ive used river, pipes, sewer, and the like none of them work.

I tried all of those as well. Instead of the where though, think more on the how (as in two words, it caught me off guard when I tried it in frustration). ;)

As for what did Evvy’s Father see that got killed… Think about what they are looking at, and the conversation that is taking place. It’s a short answer (two words).

Hope that helps a bit more… I’m re-reading the book again instead of spot checking, and even with that I’m still not finding the quotation answer. Maybe I’m flying by it, but that spot in Part II that I found is the only one that is close, and even that one is not worded exactly as the quiz, but the sequence and meaning is the same.

I don’t know about starting up a church nearly as much as living your life as you should. But if I were to nominate a Priest or Priestess, it would have to be Deborah.

Yea… I’m still stuck on the quote as well… I’ve tried the one from the book and the one from the site in a multitude of combinations, and still no luck.

Hmm perhaps we could use a lifeline and ask Ms. Pratt for a hint of some sort.

I seriously thought about that… But opted not to bother her atm since she’s pretty busy getting book two finalized, and getting ready for ComiCon. If I can make it over there, I may ask her while I’m there though… But I have an odd feeling that we’d get a better answer if we could get some kind of hint from Mr Nixon or members of his crew instead.
