Hey everyone… Just a quick note to let you know that I made it to the Book Signing at Book Soup, in Hollywood… Unfortunately I was late in arriving, so I missed being introduced by Deborah to everyone in attendance, although I did get to meet some of the people that were still hanging around afterwards.

I have to say that it was an honor and a priveledge to finally meet Deborah in person. She’s everything that she appears to be on the boards and more. I highly recommend that if you have an opportunity to meet her at one of her book signings in an area near you, it’ll be well worth your time.

I hope that everyone enjoys The Odyssey, I found it to be more captivating than The Age of Light.

I’m not sure what her touring schedule is, but I’m glad to hear that you got the book… I read mine in two days, and am getting ready to start re-reading it… Dunno if I’m going to start back with The Age Of Light first or if I’m going to just dive back into The Odyssey again…

well i reread the last part of the age of light to get into the odysessy since i vaguely remember wat happened last. im making it through the book slowly…....lol i have midterms…....

We’ll understand if it takes you a while to get into the book then… Mid-Terms are important and you need to concentrate on your studies… Of course it’ll make a good mental break.

mmm terry brooks is good. after reading the shannara series i moved on to his newer ones, the word series and the genesis of shannara…good stuff.

Odyssesy is quite interesting. i should be done with it by tomorrow

haha I finished the book. I think it was better than the first book. I definitely want to see than Ms. Pratt is cooking up for the next one…....gotta wait a whole year…........lol

Looking for Teacher’s creator. Any idea how to find her/him?

I’m well into book three and would love to see where the Teacher charater is headed.

Book three is expansive and the stories are weaving an interesting tapastry. I am so sorry this process takes such a long time. I can’t wait to show you where your characters are going this time. I’m proud of both them and you. Thanks again for such a brilliant foundation.

Everyone seems to be gone…........lol

Not gone, but missing in action. Unfortunately life has pulled me in directions that have precluded me from doing much writing, or spending as much time on the site as I would prefer.

Hopefully life will slow down and I can get back into doing some of the things that I enjoy.

Haha same here. I havent had any RSS updates for awhile…college and work seem to drain the time away. I cant wait till Book 3 comes out next year…? I’m thinking there’s a twist that allows Elana to have children even though she is a clone.

I too am looking forward to book three.

Oh… And I don’t recall that there is anything that says specifically that clones can’t procreate… I think it’s more of a legal issue than a functional one. Besides, with the geniuse of her father, I’m sure that Elana is more normal than clone in order to get around that.

My thought on Elana is that though the mother part of her may be clone, with the genetics of her father being a normal human, that I’m sure that he used some of his own to create her, then there is a very real possibility that she could have children.

The larger question is going to be the psychological impact it’s going to have on her, and how is Lazer going to react when he finds out.

Of course I may cut and paste this to a more appropriate category to continue this discussion. ;)

Must say I can’t wait for book three as well. yeah I disappeared for awhile as well. Was working on a short story that is getting published and did this little thing called National Novel Writing Month in November where I wrote a 50,075 word story in 27 days. Doing some editing on another story at the moment but hoping to schedule some VQ writing time here soon.

Congratulations on obtaininig your objective… And an impressive one it is at that. Looking forward to seeing you back on the boards again.
