The legend of the skydiver of old has been given a new breath of life.

It seems that a pair of kids may have found DB’s Parachute.

The FBI is currently investigating… And admit that it’s the correct type of chute, and is within the Landing Zone of his chute flight path.

It’s a possibility. He’d be in his late 60s or early 70s if he is.

As I understand it, he had been trained in the military to do HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) jumps. So he had the knowledge and background to pull it off.

Man I’d love to meet that guy. If someone were to pull something like that off now, heh they’d just nuke the plane.

Coast to Coast had a episode on DB Cooper just recently, think it was one of the shows Ian Punnett did. Seems there is an investigator out there who is pretty positive he knows who DB Cooper is. The idea of jumping out of a perfectly good airplane really doesn’t appeal to me. lol

It was an Ian topic. Besides… If you haven’t seen the aircraft that skydiver’s jump out of, I would call some of them anything but perfectly good.

Too bad he wasnt a well known magician, then his escape would be a piece of cake. Plus it would also explain why he hasnt been discovered yet.
