Just a thought, wouldn’t it be interesting to pass a plot around to a bunch of us bloggers and see where it goes? I got the concept from reading different english collaborations and viewing a series called “Pass the Flash” on newgrounds.com, where they pass a flash movie around and every artist picks up from where the last artist ended. It would be quite interesting to see how the plot ends up.
We’d need someone to start and an idea. We could do multiple perspectives of one event, like “Vantage Point” or explore Atlantia such as that explorer book I read. Man I’m bad at remembering titles. Let me know what y’all think. It would help some of us to improve our writing, interpretation of Atlantia, etc. and have real community involvement. Our first collaboration. XD
Let’s do this.

Sounds like an interesting idea.
How about from the vantage of a player/spectator of a game of Zoccair? It’s a popular game in this universe, and as a person interested in the game, I’d be interested.

Hmmm…good idea. I’m hoping we can get enough people to do a series of plots passing. Since its your idea, why don’t you get started and I’ll take on from there. I don’t have much of an understanding of zoccair, but since I played soccer, I think I can cook some things up.
I was thinking of an adventure plot or something. My character grew up on the Atlantian Outback and I’m in progress of writing a childhood trip gone wrong. I like those stories. Or maybe an invention gone wrong. Haha.
Or we could write about what life was like during Celian times. Celians have interested me, since they are seemingly our ancestors and no one knows what happened to them. I don’t know what a Celian looks like. I think they’d be somewhat humanoid or like sleek Kamionans haha.

Sounds like fun, count me in.
First thing that needs to be figured out though is the characters description.
Name:
Human:
Splicer:
If Splicer, Characteristics:
Age:
Height:
Weight:
Family:
Friends:
Location:
Figure that would be enough information for everyone to get a feel for the character.
I would think a new account should be setup for the blog. Can get a email list and email the password so it isn’t broadbanded on the boards here.
Ideas?

Shoots. Well, we’d need to get more ppl first then get an email list out. I told Direhoof to get started on his idea, but I’m not sure if he checked the boards recently to know that.
Probably the first collab we’ll get out is something to do with a zoccair game.

Came up with a character name that I think fits the entire concept here.
Chance Stringer
Chance is for whatever one writer does with the story at that point. Stringer is a synonym for writer. How’s that sound.

I had an idea about doing a news broadcaster stuck inside the dome trying to get the news out. The plan was to do the postings as audio files since that was they only way they could sneak messages out using the old internet connections that aren’t monitored like the vybernet is. I’m game for anything though. Still a little tied up until after Sept 20th though.

Ah that sounds cool. isnt it possible to drill under the dome? The proton dome sounds like putting a clear salad bowl over a bug on a table. or on a molecular level…? lol

The proton dome covers the entire continent of Atlantia and I would imagine goes down pretty deep in the ocean. But there could still be some hardlines in the ocean that are used or leftover from the before quake times. I would imagine they would still come in handy for solid connections verses using sat connections all the time, more secure as well.
